IFA 2015 – Exhibition Stand Deutsche Telekom
In September 2015 the IFA was on. I did design graphics for the main stage – in particular a game you could play with a friend on a tandem bycicle agains another team of 2. The faster you get, the faster your net speed will be. At the end you´ll get your boost, which is physically connected to your bike.

The whole stand was surrounded by huge Hi-res-Picture frames, which were partly interactive by movement-sensitive sensoric technology.

Ifa 2012 – Exhibition Stand Deutsche Telekom
‚The Show‘ at the Exhibition Stand of the Deutsche Telekom this year at the Ifa.
PONG Game & a Quiz were mainly the fields of my creative responsability. Additionally to that I did all the Graphics/Illustrations for it.
The setting was a 6 x 6 Meter interactive LED-Stage, which was able to track the movements of the users, who stepped on it.
Flash-Application for DTAG (Deutsche Telekom AG)
Text is moving with ‚overlay‘ effect to the background image. On the ‚move-over‘ at the upper side of the screen, the menu appears. On click of one of the buttons, the text-movement stops, thumbnail arrange themselves to the actual content.

Besides other nice multimedial Design Projects I´ve worked on for the Deutsche Telekom Stand at Cebit 2011 – my main Project was the conception and design of a gigapan. Yes;
another gigapan of enormous dimensions ;).
This one ‚Panorama der Visionen‘ (Panorama of Visions) won a “Red Dot Design Award‚!

Ifa 2011 – Exhibition Stand Deutsche Telekom
‚Virtual Window‘ was the name of this installation at the Exhibition Stand of the Deutsche Telekom this year at the Ifa.
The interactive device iPad was located 2m in front of the screen/window.

Nice’n’shiny is the design of the buttons i created for the iPad-Application. Each room got one color for orientation.
This is a Re-Use of the Design I made for the Cebit 2011 (Telekom Stand) last winter. A gigapan of enormous dimensions ;) compressed on just one screen and aplied to a single-touch-application. This ‚Panorama der Visionen (Panorama of Visions) has won a “Red Dot Design Award‚ this year.
Cebit 2010 – Exhibition Stand Deutsche Telekom
Design and Conception of several multi-media-applications for the Telekom exhibition stand at Cebit 2010.
The Multitouch-Table contains a menu which is based on the real physical movement of a grasland. By touching and tousling certain flowers the actual menu with subnavigation appears – then you chose the link you want to go to.
A so called ‚Gigapan‘, which is basically an extremly large picture, filled with information located in different areas of the picture (Gigapan). By zooming in the picture, you explore the area and find many more information. The appearance of the Information in depth depends on the priority. It works hierarchically. The hidden Information shouldn´t be that important to get as the obvious, which is easier to find by area. Because this technology of displaying information is so new and innovative, there are still some experiences to make with.
This Multitouch-Table contains a ‚Gigapan‘, a vector-based Illustration – showing a kind of universe, we called it ‚Infoverse‘. You find several galaxys displaying information. This ‚Infoverse‘ was already created and shown at the ‚IFA 2009‚. For this Cebit it was addapted to the specific design requirements and to the up-to-date-status.

In 2009 i was part of the design team, who created the stand of the german telekom at the trade fair IFA in Berlin. I designed a Gigapan for a multitouch application, which is basically an extremely large image (400000 px x 400000 px) you can ’surf‘ through. By sliding with your hands on the MultiTouchTable you are able to rotate or to scale the content…

SBZ – Deliveries
To promote the offers / activities of the youth & cultural center ‚SBZ Rostock (Suedstadt / Biestow)‘ – I´m creating diverse designs / illutrations as volunteer work for several years now.
Have a look at the postcard I made for them in 2010.
Most of the time the Flyer designs have to come in colour AND in black & white because the sponsering of colourprints often contains just one poster, which is usually displayed in the cultural center – the handouts do have to work in black & white as well.
It´s a real pitty, but moneyflow for social work is not happening that much – as we all know…
Cableguys Product Family
While the cableguys are always improving software product family, the need of consistency in shape and look became more & more important. So besides turning the interface of the software itself into a darker and minimalistic look, we needed to work on the different plugin-names and make them a sign which works with the logo of the company. As for example
these products. I hope for them there is too be much more in the future.

AUDIBLE – Audio Play Cover Design!
As I am doing Graphic Design Jobs for ‚Audible‘ since a couple of years now – I was asked to actually create my own designs for some of their publications. This is my first piece – according to the existing ‚Fitzek‘-Cover out there so far.
The task is always – to make it readable enough even on small-sized-thumbnails – but not boring to look at, when it is on large scale. So it was about Type Design then about any additional Visual because of the small-size-issue on any mobile or other audible devices.

Design of Logo / Business Cards / Website for Berlin based Video Journalist Annemarie Thiede.
I used two diferent versions of the logo. One (1.) general logo for website-usage / business card.
Another one (2.) for the social network-usage (such as vimeo / soundcloud / Facebook / …)

‚Rote Hose‘- Da Sign I made
The Task was to create a sign, which can be produced as a real ‚red ribbon‘. The sign should be one day be used similar to the ribbon, which is used as the symbol for the prevention of drunk driving and also solidarity of people living with HIV/AIDS*.
In this case the red ribbon is formed as pants – not least because the name of the association is ‚Red Pants‘ (‚Rote Hose‘).
Corporate Design study of a team of architects, who are btw friends from university times.
50 % of the architects have a russian background. The approach was to combine the russian expression for friendship: druschba … and the 2 main letters ‚D‘ – for Druschba & ‚A‘ – for Architects.
D + A = ‚DA‘ (Да) also means ‚YES‘. So it has even one more meta level – a positive connotation.
SWEETSPOTPOST – Sound Design & Audio Post Production
A great Sound Designer, Nico Krebs,
who mainly works for the film industry in Germany.
He has decided to move into a bigger studio and by that chance to change the professional representation of his given name into the ‚brand‘ sweetspotpost.
(sweet spot? = a location or combination of characteristics that produces the best results – in this case: sounds)
The Logo I´ve designed for his new company is part of the total redesign.

Finally the brand new CD is out. I was asked to design the graphical package.

Postcards for Indonesia
On my last trip to Indonesia, we met nice surfers, who became friends. They also have a shop, where we try to get postcards to wirte our families. But niether there nor in the rest of Sumatra we couldn´t buy any. We now changed this. At least our freinds in West Sumatra will have a collection of postcards to sell now.
SBZ – Postcard
To promote the offers / activities of the youth & cultural center ‚SBZ Rostock (Suedstadt / Biestow)‘ – i designed a postcard, which can be sent properly or just being kept to collect or to pin at the fridge – whatsoever!
The character’s heads from their logo were the starting point of the whole illustrative process to find a style.
Mercedes Benz – BlueDIRECT – Paris Motor Show 2010 – Exhibition Stand (in german)
BlueDIRECT – Die intelligente Benzindirekteinspritzung.
Mercedes-Benz hat auf der Automobilmesse in Paris 2010 2 neue extrem leistungsstarke aber vergleichsweise auch sehr effiziente Motoren vorgestellt. Die Summe der angepassten und optimierten Technologien und Bauteile werden anhand von grafischen Schittebenen der Motoren gezeigt. Jede Acrylscheibe zeigt somit ein Bauteil in realer Ausführung und über die Grafik dessen genaue Positionen und Funktion im Motor.

Die neuen entwickelten V6- und V8-Triebwerke mit BlueDIRECT-Technologie sind hoch effiziente Benzinmotoren mit modernster Direkteinspritzung, Downsizing und Turboaufladung.
V6 – Der Effiziente
Das neue V6-Triebwerk beeindruckt besonders durch geringen Verbrauch. Ein Technologiepaket, u. a. mit Start-Stopp Funktion und Benzin-Direkteinspritzung der dritten Generation, sorgt für verblüffend niedrige Verbrauchs- und Emissionswerte. Und das bei einer auf 225 kW (306 PS) gesteigerten Leistung.
V8 – Der Leistungsstarke
Der Hightech-V8 erzielt – von zwei Turboladern beatmet – mit 320 kW (435 PS) rund 12 Prozent mehr Leistung als sein Vorgänger. Aus weniger Hubraum. Das Drehmoment steigt ebenfalls, und zwar um satte 32 Prozent auf 700 Newtonmeter.
Das gleiche Prinzip ist auch in der Monitorbespielung wiederzufinden. Durch das Bewegen eines Sliders kann sich der Besucher zwischen den verschieden Konstruktionsebenen durchbewegen und somit den Motor komplett von vorn bis hinten analysieren und nachvollziehen. Medial werden die Optimierungen der Bauteile noch durch erklärende Videos vertiefend erläutert.

Usage of Futura Font in various cuts for various contents.
Before „boatoon.com“ made their final decision of who should design the portal for them – they asked me to make a rough sketch of the website. Even if they took another designer to develop their commercial-sailing-website at the end, i decided to post my layout here, because i kind of like the style and it makes the work worth it.
A Journalist and Editor asked me to design her personal Business-Website. The task was to create a relation between a typical look of a newspage and a simple, fresh and clean feel.
I used a colorcoding for each section in the menu to pretty it up a bit – especially because in the page will be no pictures displayed.
Even the favicons turn into the color of each section.

The Belgian Beer App offers a broad range of entertaining and informative content on individual beer profiles, brewing methods, brewery history, cultural tidbits as well as expert recommendations on food pairing and more.
Explore modern Specialty Beers inspired by old recipes and learn why Belgian Beer is so popular and well respected around the world.

Franz Geil – Poster
My Friend Franz Geil* aka Antoine.(*Franz Geil = France Gall / Geil = Horny! ;)
He wanted to be shown as a typical 60’s french Chanson singer. In those days, they played around a lot with color shapes and forms and put the protagonist right in there. I tried to do it with Franz Geil. Fortunately he had some old pictures of him, posing for the exact purpose.
I created a sort of graphical modular system to be able to create the upcoming posters in the same look.I used the french flag in combination with the german colors for the general color shading and of course a beer (THE german stereotype, nobody is embaressed about).
This way also he will be able to create his next posters by himself, if necessary. It will be easier and faster but similar to the rest.
Punctually to the Valentines-Day-Celebrations i was asked by the Kerlin-Boys to design a Poster for their ‚Liebes Lieder‘-Party. 3 music acts were meant to play their. Of course i was there too. Unfortunately the police came after the first act and crashed the party. They made us leave the place. So we decided spontaneously to find another place where we could continue what we’ve just
started. To our surprise we could convince the owner of an austrian Restaurant ‚Masopust‘, who was just about to close. The whole delegation of the Kerlin-Valentines-Party had an even more special and very lovely evening. It’s all about Love, isn’t it. Thank you ‚Masopust‘ for your hospitality. We recommend you. Update: Unfortunately it had to close. So all we got is the memory of a bueautiful time there.

Biennale Tehran – Poster Submission
The 1st International Roaming Biennial of Tehran.
International Roaming Biennial of Tehran, curated and organized by Amirali Ghasemi and Serhat Koksal,chose Istanbul as its first station .The idea of this independent, low-budget exhibition started out both as a critique of the situation in Tehran, and of the international „biennialization“ and “gentrification“ process .
Featured works by artists from different countries from all around the world, selected from an open submission call, which has had an overwhelming response.Berlin was it’s 2nd station.

#1 Internship after my Diploma for Moniteurs:
Conception and Design of the CI of the Institute of Civil Engeneering Berlin. For their anual ‚Night of the Scienses‘.
#2 My Diploma – Final Thesis:
Development of an multimedial information- and orientation system.
Development of a keyvisual which fullfills several functions (such as being an arrow to show directions in the house | a logo | the smalest part of several textures for further design solutions).
This project ran along the renovation of the former living house of a national well known neorealistic writer (João Josè Cochofel) into cultural center in Coimbra (Portugal). The involved architects came up with a multifunctional furniture system, where my multiflexible signspeech took part.
